Marriage and Family Counseling
Using the Gottman Method of Therapy

Kids and Divorce Counseling
Divorcing parents will learn how separation, custody disputes, dating, remarrying and blended families affect their children. The purpose of this workshop is to assist parents in acquiring the type of parenting skills necessary to help their children with the transitions of divorce.
 For many children, research indicates that divorce can be the single most painful event of their childhood. Divorce does not have to cause emotional harm or result in long term problems for children. Children of parents who display solid parenting skills during a divorce fare better than children whose parents do not receive divorce education. This workshop serves as the court-mandated requirement for parents seeking a divorce. Participants will receive a certificate of attendance.

Divorce Support Group
 This group is for adults experiencing the trauma and loss of a relationship. The purpose of this group is to assist individuals in acquiring healthy coping skills and provide support from others. Divorce can be painful, difficult and life altering. Your relationship may be ending, but your life is not. With education and support, the experience can be growth producing.  Self Esteem Groups
The group experience can be an agent for effective change in a way that is different from individual counseling. By receiving feedback and support from others, the individual will build confidence, self esteem and insight. For more information or registration call 587-9486
Mind/Body Work
